Master of Business Taxation - Working Professionals

The Master of Business Taxation - Working Professionals program is our evening MBT program designed for students who wish to remain fully employed while pursuing their graduate studies.

This program incorporates the successful full-time MBT curriculum into a 30-unit program consisting of two major components:  core classes and elective classes.  The first 15 units are comprised of core classes that provide you with a solid foundation in all major areas of taxation.  In addition to the core curriculum, students may choose 15 units from the approved list of graduate business classes of which 9 units must be tax courses.

The Difference

Upon completion of the MBT - Working Professionals program, you will have earned the same MBT degree as you would in a full-time program.  The advantages of the program are the flexible class schdule and the pace in which you would complete the degree.

Evening Classes
Classes in the MBT Working Professionals program are held between 6:00pm and 10:00pm throughout the week.  We believe it's easier to fit in an extra three hours of class at the end of a busy day than it is to give up all or part of a weekend.

Capture Room Classes
Designed initially for the distance learning environment, the Capture Room allows students the flexibility of in-class attendance or remote attendance.  Classes in the Capture Room are video/audio recorded to allow for viewing at the workplace or home should attendance on main campus not be possible.

Flexible Pace
The MBT Working Professionals program generally takes three years to complete.  However, we understand that work demands may change, and you are allowed up to five years within which to complete your degree.
